Introduction

In most years the Club organises a Long Range Excursion (LRX) to a destination well away from Perth. These excursions last at least a week and usually involve an aspect of research or monitoring and including activities such as establishing quadrats for botanical purposes, bird surveys, pitfall trapping and so on. Participation is restricted to members, and the number of participants is usually limited.

The 2008 LRX will be the next such excursion to be held by the Club. It is planned to travel the Holland Track starting on the 20th September. Details will be made available through the Club's newsletter.

Newsletter reports together with photographs from some of the more recent previous excursions are included on this website.

To have a chance of participating in the Club's LRX excursions you need to become a member so join the club.
