Activities:Classifying and learning about marine plants and animals found on the beach.
Bring:Warm clothes, hat, raincoat; Binoculars, plastic bag, container (not essential)

BUSHWALKING GROUP


ABYSINIA ROCK (on the Bibbulmum track)
SUNDAY 6 JULY
Meet:Where the Bibbulmum track crosses the Brookton Hwy. See the book Roads and Tracks of WA. It is about 30 km along the Brookton Hwy from where the Highway starts at Kelmscott. Power lines cross the Hwy just east of the meeting point.
Time:9.30 am to walk at 10am sharp.
Details:14km mostly level walking through Jarrah forest

Meet:Cnr. Buckland Road and Jarrahdale Road. Jarrahdale

Details:Scenic walk with cascades and waterfalls. About 12km with some steep rocky sections.

Bring:Equipment for close up photography. Gum boots as the area can get quite swampy. A plastic sheet to kneel on, reflector for those dark areas, a fungi book for identification. [Visit Perth Urban Bushland Fungi Project]. Morning tea
